south africa

So much is going on all around the world on our summer mission projects. I saw this story from South Africa, and I thought I would share it. God is always on the move pursuing people for Himself. That is what I want to be a part of, and I give thanks that that is what you want too.

The student leaders of The Impact Movement at University of Western Cape (UWC) were a little discouraged. Many of their leaders disappeared, recently graduated, or are nearing graduation. It was evident that help was needed, but with a high Muslim student population, potential leaders seemed far from attainable. As a group they prayed that God would give them support. God answered their prayers in ways they never imagined.

We have spent the last two days at UWC. So far, over 13 people have given their life to Christ.

A Muslim worker accepted Christ, and while we were praying for him, another student approached us with amazement. He recently converted from Islam to Christianity and felt that God was calling him to tell others about Christ. We got his contact information and gave it to a student leader. Prayerfully he will remain involved with the Impact Movement Chapter at UWC.

It is evident that God has heard the student’s prayers and is actively working on this campus. We are excited to be a part of this investment in eternity. We are thankful for what God has done and are excited to see what He has in store for the remainder of the project!
